This was an extra special session for me! I met Isla’s parents about four years ago, and we have become very good friends. I also photographed their engagement and wedding photos, so it was such an honor to photograph their new baby and see they family grow! 

At one point during the family photos, I noticed baby Isla had her hand wrapped around her father’s finger. I had just learned that during her first week the only bottle she would take was the bottle given to her by her dad. Then I saw him holding her close to his chest, and it was quite evident, they were both wrapped around each other’s fingers. So much love, so special to see… 

And this strong mom is a big inspiration to me! Motherhood not only looks amazing on her, she has so much confidence for a first time mom, she’s definitely #goals! 

N&M, congratulations on having the most perfect baby girl! I can’t wait to see her grow!
