My favorite thing to do during sessions is to learn more about the PEOPLE I’m working with. There’s something so special about taking pictures while getting to know a person better. It’s a huge part of getting pictures that show real smiles, and personalities. 

I probably could have hung out with them all day and we would have never run out of things to say! I love that their son A loves soccer, and knows so much about it, including who some of my favorite soccer players are. I love that him and I also share a love for noodles, and being in front of the camera. Gotta love a boy who loves photos! 

And daughter A dances, which reminds of the years I was in dance myself. When I asked where she’d like to travel to with 50k, she answered “Pari,” in the cutest accent! Little does she know, that would have been my pick too! 

And mom and dad, well, they raised two beautiful children. That says a lot about who they are as parents, and people. I also love that mom was so good about understanding my need to “catch the light,” and get everybody to cooperate. 

I love the love I see in these pictures, and I can’t wait to hang out with this family again! OOOHHHHH, and I can’t forget to tell you guys the why for my blog title! When I asked them what animal dad would be (if he were an animal), they all said Squirrel! Apparently that’s their family mascot :-).
